A financial services firm with a mission to ensure retirees reach their retirement goals of financial security is seeking a Lead Financial Advisor to join our team.
This successful independent firm focuses on providing Financial Planning, Tax Planning, and Estate Planning for clients. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, initiative, integrity, and a strong work ethic. As part of the Advisor team, they will facilitate operations related to client hospitality, information services, and B2B monetary transfers. They will assist with case analysis and asset rebalancing for existing clients. The firms Advisors do not prospect; they benefit from an excellent marketing program and a large number of client referrals.
Duties:
- Prepare client files with critical financial planning information.
- Initiate B2B phone calls supporting financial transactions.
- Build rapport and provide hospitality to clients.
- Perform portfolio risk analysis and recommend investments based on research.
- Assist with client case updates, onboarding, applications, and documentation.
- Proofread documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Participate in client meetings to co-present recommendations and deliver advice.
- Meet with clients and help close business.
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Bachelors degree preferred in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics.
- Series 65 or 66 license.
- Life and health insurance license (preferred, not required).
- Knowledge of key financial, investment, risk management, and retirement planning concepts.
- Proficiency with mathematical calculations.
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to give oral presentations to small groups.
- Social and emotional intelligence.
