Responsibilities:

As a New York Complex Claims Representative , you will handle loss time complex claims across multiple jurisdictions, focusing on New York. Your key responsibilities include:

• Evaluating compensability and coverage issues
• Negotiating and finalizing settlements
• Gathering medical and factual evidence
• Coordinating investigations
• Managing outside counsel and litigation
• Communicating daily with claimants, attorneys, investigators, and other stakeholders
• Ensuring timely claims handling

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years in NY loss time workers' compensation, including litigated claims
• Experience with NY Employers Liability claims is a plus
• Flexible, positive attitude
• Ability to learn claims procedures in multiple states
• Strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills
• Team player with innovative thinking
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Active NY adjuster license is a plus
