Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year (based on experience)

About Us:
Our service company, specializing in HVAC, Heating, Electric, and Plumbing, is seeking an experienced In-House Recruiter to join our team. As an integral member of our HR department, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for our technical teams.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled recruiter with 3-5 years of experience in recruiting for technical roles, preferably in the service industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in utilizing online recruitment platforms, social media, and best practices to identify and attract entry to mid-level technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to meet hiring goals
- Source candidates through Indeed, LinkedIn, job fairs, and other channels
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines
- Conduct phone screens, interviews, and skills assessments
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and preferences
- Negotiate salary and benefits packages
- Ensure compliance with company policies, EEO, and labor laws
- Analyze recruitment metrics and provide insights for process improvements
- Maintain relationships with local trade schools, colleges, and industry associations
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in the service industry
- Proven track record of success in filling technical roles
- In-depth knowledge of Indeed, LinkedIn, and other online recruitment platforms
- Familiarity with ATS systems and recruitment software
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple openings
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or other recruitment certifications
- Experience with employee referrals, internships, and diversity initiatives
- Knowledge of California labor laws and regulations
