Job Overview
VWG Wealth Management is looking for an experienced wealth advisor to service an existing book of high-net-worth individuals. The advisor will be the primary point of contact and will develop and support client relationships through the transition process. Once transitioned, the advisor will manage the relationship with an emphasis on goal setting and financial planning while providing sound advice. You will work in a team environment and collaborate with members of the investment team, financial planning team, service team and other wealth advisors. You will report to a Partner, Senior Wealth Advisor.
Essential Functions
- Work with partners to successfully transition designated clients; drive process when appropriate
- Serve as primary contact for client relationships; plan and conduct client meetings including client reviews, presentation of financial plans, investment proposals and other recommendations
- Develop and present client advice appropriate to individual client situations and following our planning processes, investment strategy and fiduciary standard
- Deliver outstanding client service by conducting portfolio reviews, developing, and updating financial plan recommendations and working with investment team to create customized investment strategies to meet client goals
- Demonstrate a broad base of knowledge across all functions of financial planning, including cash flow management, investments, insurance, tax strategy, retirement analysis and estate planning
- Support organic growth of business through high client retention, organic asset expansion and new client acquisition
- Monitor household performance in relation to benchmark indices and develop insights for clients reading key contributors and detractors
- Present alternative investment ideas to clients
- Network with the business community to help increase visibility of VWG brand
- Collaborate and coordinate with clients trusted advisors (ie attorneys, accountants, estate planners) to deliver thoughtful and holistic advice, recommendations, and service
- Contribute content for ongoing education, including webinars, firm newsletters, and blog posts
- Support firm growth by identifying, exploring and closing opportunities with new and existing clients
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulations
- Achieve proficiency in relevant technologies including eMoney Financial Planning software, BlackDiamond performance reporting platform and Fidelitys Wealthscape execution platform

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree
- 5 years in a wealth advisor, portfolio administration, financial planner or related position
- Certified Financial Planner designation and/or other relevant professional designation
Hours of Work: Standard hours of work are Monday through Friday during normal day business hours 8:30 5:00pm
