Job Summary:
Provides administrative support to the mortgage department. Adept at maintaining customer files, has great customer service abilities and maintains the professional image of the Credit Union to callers and visitors.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Answer and route incoming calls, emails, and messages related to mortgage loans services.
  • Assist members with residential and equity inquiries related to servicing issues.
  • Assist members with basic home loan inquiries, providing general information about mortgage products, application processes, and required documentation.
  • Process payoffs of equity loans.
  • Assist with department walk-ins, scheduling appointments, answering calls, mailing and scanning of documents.
  • Assist Branch personnel with equity applications as needed.
  • Respond to member inquiries regarding process for obtaining Credit Union endorsement on loss draft checks.
  • Prepare Satisfaction of Mortgage(s) on paid off equity loans and lines.
  • Escrow Review of 1st lien equity loans and lines for payment of taxes done on quarterly basis.
  • Issue payoff statements on equity loans and lines as requested.
  • Process CPI (force placed insurance).
  • Review monthly MIS invoice report and issue payment.
  • Process Symitar account number changes.
  • Monthly equity reports.
  • Equity loan and line payment change agreements.
  • Handle disbursement of loss draft insurance proceeds.
  • Forward required payoff documentation to Cenlar on residential loans.
  • Follow up on recorded mortgage on equity loans and lines and reviews for potential intervening liens.
  • Follow up regarding receipt of final title policy for residential loans, place in permanent file.
  • Follow up regarding receipt of recorded mortgage for residential loans, place in permanent file.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management
