CoStar Group is actively seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its dynamic team. This role is ideal for a highly analytical and collaborative professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
The Senior Financial Analyst will lead key financial planning cycles, manage corporate forecasting models, and partner cross-functionally with Sales, R&D, Product, Marketing, and G&A teams to drive strategic decision-making. This is a high-impact role with visibility to senior leadership and the opportunity to shape the financial future of a global real estate technology leader. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial analysis, data modeling, and business intelligence, with a passion for streamlining workflows and enabling data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles bringing past experience to help scale our processes and ensure continued accuracy and analysis in each quarterly cycle
Partner with business stakeholders and FP&A team members to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable BI solutions
Lead initiatives to automate recurring financial reports and manual data processes, reducing cycle times and improving accuracy
Provide insights and analysis to assist the business leaders in improving financial performance
Own and manage the corporate financial forecast model and assist with Long Term strategic financial planning
Continuously identify and communicate all risks and opportunities against the budget and/or forecast(s)
Bring a collaborative, hands-on approach to your work, developing open communications and productive work relationships across the Finance organization.
Develop financial models for new product introductions and work with product owners, marketing team, and engineering team on developing projections and ROI.
Financial analysis on an ad hoc basis
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College
A track record of commitment to prior employers
Advanced proficiency in Power BI and Power Query
Experience working with large datasets and integrating data from multiple systems
3+ years FP&A experience in a public traded SaaS company
Strong business acumen, excellent communication skills and superior analytical skills
Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel
Prior experience in software engineering/technology a plus
