As a Federal Tax Manager, you'll provide tax advisory and compliance services, work closely with firm leadership, and directly impact the firm's success. Responsibilities:

• Provide federal tax compliance and consulting to industry-specific clients.
• Serve as a tax advisor for day to day matters with clients from middle market to multinational.
• Consult on corporate and flow-through taxation, accounting methods, and ASC740 projects
• Research tax issues, respond to IRS inquiries, and provide client recommendations
• Coordinate with specialty tax practices on complex matters in various tax areas.
• Manage client engagement staffing, billings/collections, and ensure profitability targets are met.
• Network and build strong internal and external client and community relationships
• Invest in professional development through firm-wide programs
• Support team growth and development.
  

• Bachelors degree in accounting, Law, or a similar degree in Business.
• CPA or JD required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a professional services firm.
• Two years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates.
• Demonstrated analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills.
• Exceptional client service.
• Commitment to continuous learning
• Sense of urgency and dedication to quality and timely project completion.
• Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills.
