Kuhn & Associates is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant with 35 years of experience to join our dynamic in-office team. Key Responsibilities:

Participate in tax and consulting engagements; identify and address client needs

Prepare and review general ledger entries and financial statements

Prepare a variety of tax returns including: Individual (1040), S Corporation (1120-S), C Corporation

Corporation (1120), Trust (1041), and Nonprofit (990)

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax returns

Analyze tax notices from government agencies and prepare initial response drafts

Leverage firm technology effectively to improve efficiency and accuracy

Train, supervise, and mentor Staff Accountants

Qualifications

35 years of relevant tax experience in public accounting

Background in mentoring and staff development

Proven financial, analytical, and technical skills

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

CPA certification or eligibility is a plus

Collaborative and supportive work environment
