The Waldorf School of the Peninsula in Mountain View is seeking a Part-Time High School Girls Volleyball Coach for the 2025-26 school year starting in August.
If you are passionate and devoted to inspiring girls through volleyball, we welcome you to our High school. Practices and games are generally after school around 3:30pm-6pm
The High School Girls Volleyball Coach is responsible for overall management of the volleyball team.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Run comprehensive and objective driven practices.
Run high-energy, technically correct, and physically challenging practices
Able to organize and manage schedule and communication through Teamsnap
Able to help transport athletes to and from practices/games with our school provided vans
Able to attend Pre/Post Season Coaches meeting.
Must have a valid California drivers license to drive the team van.
Qualifications
Safety Oriented. Ensure the playing environment is safe; be trained in CPR/AED and First Aid.
Previous Volleyball coaching/playing experience is preferred.
Technically competent. A solid technical knowledge of Basketball strategies, individual skills, and rules of the game.
Ability to communicate well, verbally and in writing, with the players, parents, and the athletic department.
Organized. Able to manage rosters, uniform distribution and collection, line ups, and scorebook.

Mandated Reporter
Must complete DOJ and FBI live-scan fingerprinting and a TB Assessment prior to the start of service. The position is compensated between $30-$50 per hour depending on qualifications and duties.
