Position: Financial Analyst
Pay: $ 60,000-$70,000
Schedule: Full time M-Fr. Central or EST preferred but not a must
The FP&A Analyst will play a critical role in providing key analysis and support to the organization. We are looking for an intellectually curious individual who can provide detailed analytical support to management through a variety of financial and operational analyses. The FP&A Analyst will work closely with various departments to support overall company success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily, weekly, monthly and yearly operational reporting
- Support Operations and Finance in building annual budgets
- Support finance manager in initiatives to establish relationships with business partners, and proactively address issues that may arise during this process
- Ensure reporting accuracy, understand drivers of variances, and provide insightful commentary and analysis for current and future periods.
- Analyze, prepare, and present variance analysis based on actual results compared to historical results, budgets, and forecasts.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses and modeling as requested
- Identify opportunities to improve, scale, or simplify finance tools and processes across teams or the organization as a whole
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with BI platforms, Netsuite and Onestream (preferred but not required).
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel capabilities
- Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and interacting with different levels of management.
- Solid judgment, analytical ability, and creativity in solving problems requiring out of the box critical thinking skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently, effectively managing tasks and driving projects forward without constant oversight
