Position Summary: This position is responsible for accurate processing vendor invoices and payments, verifying the receipt of goods and services, and managing client custodial funds. This role also involves receiving payments, preparing deposits, and maintaining fixed asset records of all Rosecrance locations to ensure proper financial tracking and reporting.
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Demonstrated experience in general accounting or bookkeeping, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Strong computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office products with an emphasis in Excel
  • Ability to accurately complete required documentation and reports within established timelines
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
  • Belief in the mission and vision of Rosecrance
Essential Responsibilities:
  1. Work hours prescribed and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned.
  2. Review and verify the accuracy of vendor invoices.
  3. Review employee reimbursement requests for accuracy, ensuring calculations are correct.
  4. Confirm that invoices have been approved in accordance with the fiscal policy and purchasing authority schedule.
  5. Assign appropriate codes to invoices for entry into the accounting software.
  6. Enter invoices accurately into the accounting software system.
  7. Assemble invoices for payment processing.
  8. Prepare and print checks for invoice payment.
  9. Process ACH payments in a timely manner.
  10. Prepare and process recurring or standing invoices as required.
  11. Maintain and update the accrual log for accurate financial tracking.
  12. Generate and review monthly Accounts Payable (AP) reports to reconcile with the general ledger (GL).
  13. Maintain organized and/or paper vendor files, including 1099 information for tax reporting purposes.
  14. Confirm receipts of goods and services, ensuring they match purpose orders.
  15. Review packing slips for accuracy, ensuring alignment with purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
  16. Record receipt of goods against purchase orders to ensure proper documentation.
  17. Accurately log cash receipts to maintain up-to-date financial records.
  18. Understand and comply with all principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program, Code of Ethics and HIPAA regulations.
  19. Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
  20. Serve as a role model for other staff and clients.
  21. Demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.
  22. Assume other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

Schedule: 8-hour shifts
  • Shift: Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm
Work Location: Rosecrance Mulford Office
  • Onsite
Compensation: Pay starting at 20.29/hour.
