Job Description: Financial Project Lead

Turner Construction, a leading industry player with a 120-year history of iconic projects worldwide, is seeking a Financial Project Lead for an advanced technology project in Northern Louisiana. This role requires extensive travel (90-100%) and involves managing all fiscal and financial aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with Turner policies, and communicating potential risks or profitability concerns to management.

Position Details:

• Location: Monroe, LA 71201, USA
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in finance or accounting
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Travel: 90-100%
• Job Type: Regular, Salaried Exempt

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee billing, accounts receivable, and ensure contractual compliance
• Audit client billing and project ledger for accuracy and compliance
• Manage accounts payable, including vendor and subcontractor payments, lien waivers, and insurance requirements
• Coordinate month-end closing processes and project financial closeout
• Monitor cash position, report on assets and liabilities, and communicate financial risks
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with GAAP, financial systems, MS Office (Excel, Word)
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
