Job Description: Financial Project Lead
Turner Construction, a leading industry player with a 120-year history of iconic projects worldwide, is seeking a Financial Project Lead for an advanced technology project in Northern Louisiana. This role requires extensive travel (90-100%) and involves managing all fiscal and financial aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with Turner policies, and communicating potential risks or profitability concerns to management.
Position Details:
- Location: Monroe, LA 71201, USA
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in finance or accounting
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Travel: 90-100%
- Job Type: Regular, Salaried Exempt
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee billing, accounts receivable, and ensure contractual compliance
- Audit client billing and project ledger for accuracy and compliance
- Manage accounts payable, including vendor and subcontractor payments, lien waivers, and insurance requirements
- Coordinate month-end closing processes and project financial closeout
- Monitor cash position, report on assets and liabilities, and communicate financial risks
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with GAAP, financial systems, MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
