The Opportunity

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a support role in helping to drive the financial/operational performance of the North America and Global GPN Product Supply Team. As a Snr Financial Analyst at GPN supporting the Product Supply organization, your work will be used throughout the organization to drive improvements in cost, process improvements, and understanding the company. This role will report to the Snr Finance Reporting Manager and will be responsible for building Monthly reviews and Budget/Forecast reviews, consolidating product supply data, perform complex finance analyses to ensure financial goals are being met, and report key Global PS KPIs (CapEx, etc.).

Influencer Strategically Focused- The jobs core deliverables rely on influencing or negotiating with internal contacts. Relationships typically involve successful collaboration on routine matters and/or with peer level clients and/or internal customers.

This permanent position will report to the Finance Manager of Operations.

  • Provide the management team with clear insights driven by strong analytics that support improvement within the manufacturing network
  • Proactively looking for trends, best practices, and opportunities with the network to drive improvement
  • Create and own operational and financial reporting, including ad hoc analysis
  • Run meetings and take ownership of a functional area or business segment
  • Prepare reports and presentations for Monthly MBRs and quarterly forecasts
  • Develop and/or streamline reporting processes
  • Identify positive and negative trends and explain variances to prior year, budget and forecast
  • Query existing systems to extract data and develop reports
  • Manage forecasting/budgeting schedule; validate delivery timing of forecast/budget between all interested parties
  • Translate operational metrics into financial impacts to help business prioritize cost savings solutions
  • Performs/Leads other projects as assigned

The Skills you will bring to the team

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • CMA, CPA, or MBA preferred.
  • Prior manufacturing finance experience including standard costing, material, labor and overhead variance analysis preferred.
  • General accounting knowledge and strong Microsoft Office capability
  • Expert Excel experience required, SAP experience is a plus
  • Organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Self-starter with ability to figure out tasks with minimal direction
  • Strong understanding of the financial statements and key accounting concepts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player Will be working with various functional owners at the plants and at corporate.
  • Flexible Need to be able to adapt with a fast changing environment.

Compensation

Compensation for roles at Glanbia varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. Glanbia provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in IL. This range may not be applicable to other locations. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. The annual salary for IL based employees for this role is $80K- 95K with an annual bonus.
