Position Description:
We are seeking a talented Website Manager to join our dynamic marketing and communications team. As a Website Manager, you will manage the digital presence of our network of charter schools. As the Website Manager, you will maintain and optimize our websites to ensure they effectively communicate our mission, values, and offerings to various stakeholders, including students, parents, staff, and the community. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, creative vision, and strong communication skills to enhance user experience and drive engagement.
Responsibilities:
Website Maintenance and Development: Manage the day-to-day operation and maintenance of all network websites, ensuring functionality, security, and responsiveness across devices. Collaborate with internal teams to update website content, including announcements, news, events, and resources. Implement website design changes and improvements based on feedback and industry best practices. Content Management:
Create, edit, and publish engaging and relevant content that aligns with the network's brand identity and objectives. Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to increase visibility and organic traffic. Monitor website analytics to track performance metrics and user behavior, providing insights for continuous improvement. User Experience Optimization:
Conduct regular audits of website usability, accessibility, and navigation to enhance user experience. Implement strategies to improve website load times, mobile responsiveness, and overall user satisfaction. Ensure compliance with web accessibility standards and regulations to ensure inclusivity for all users. Digital Marketing Support:
Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop digital marketing campaigns and initiatives. Integrate marketing materials, such as graphics, videos, and social media content, into the website to support promotional efforts. Utilize email marketing tools and strategies to engage with website visitors and subscribers effectively. Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
Serve as the primary point of contact for website-related technical issues and inquiries, providing timely resolutions and support. Coordinate with external vendors and IT professionals to address hosting, domain, and server-related matters as needed. Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in web development to recommend and implement innovative solutions. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in web development, digital marketing, computer science, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience (3+ years) managing and maintaining websites, preferably in the education or non-profit sector. Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages and tools. Strong understanding of SEO principles, web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics), and web accessibility standards (WCAG). Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Creative problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail. Familiarity with graphic design principles and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus. Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) and CRM systems is desirable. This role is designed to harness specialized skills in web management and digital communications to advance Concept Schools' mission. It aims to ensure that our network's digital platforms effectively showcase our educational programs, thereby enhancing accessibility and engagement for all stakeholders and preparing our students for future academic and professional success.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
