Administrative Medical Assistant needed in San Jose, CA.

Administer and take accountability for insurance verification processes and medication prior authorizations. Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments Answer phones Greet patients with a positive attitude Ensure all forms and consents are completed by patient Manage tasks in EHR inbox/e-mails Process medication prior authorizations Take and record manual vital signs Administer injections as directed by the physician Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED and completion of an accredited medical assisting program. Must have experience with insurance verification process and medication prior authorizations. This is required. No exceptions Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be a team player! Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and other external parties in a courteous and friendly manner at all times. Must be detail oriented/goal oriented Must be able to take manual vital signs. Required. Firm grasp on medical practices, administrative processes, and organizational policies Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times CPR certified-BLS
Please note this position is heavily focused on Administrative/Front Desk duties along with some hands on Medical Assistant experience, including running of vitals and injections.
