We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer - DevOps to lead our DevOps team. This role requires technical expertise and leadership to design, implement, and manage DevOps processes and infrastructure, while mentoring team members. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor DevOps engineers. Design and manage scalable, secure infrastructure solutions. Develop and enforce CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automation best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless application and service delivery. Manage cloud infrastructure for high availability and performance. Implement containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes. Maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Monitor system performance, security, and reliability. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions. Drive continuous improvement of DevOps processes. Lead incident response and troubleshooting. Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate relevant technologies. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 7+ years in DevOps or related roles, with 2+ years in a leadership position. Experience with AWS or Azure. Proficiency in Python, Bash. Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI. Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. Strong Linux skills, especially with Ubuntu/Debian. Expertise in networking, security, and system administration. Leadership and team management skills. Problem-solving and proactive issue resolution skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications:
Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Experience with configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible. Knowledge of security standards and compliance. Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack. This role balances advanced technical skills and leadership to ensure effective DevOps operations. Benefits:
