The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled building and maintenance tasks relating to the renovation, upkeep and operation of campus buildings and facilities.
Perform mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing systems as appropriate. Perform routine HVAC preventative maintenance. Operate minor equipment: vacuum pumps, recovery machines, saws, drills, grinders, etc. Inspect buildings and mechanical room equipment for needed repairs and maintenance.
Closing Date: Open until filled. Start Date: Open until filled. Standard Working Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Salary: $2,650.00 per month (competitive retirement, and optional health benefit plans available). Minimum Qualifications
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid North Carolina Driver's License. Candidate must have the ability to operate a forklift, scissor lift, and a 40' articulating lift. Must possess two (2) years HVAC experience. Must have an EPA certification. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Also must be able to perform electrical and basic plumbing. Supplemental Information
