About the job Maintenance Technician
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and building as needed Understand and follow emergency procedures in the event of equipment failure Repair equipment as needed due to breakdowns Oversee maintenance of the facility and all equipment Work closely with production to ensure timely production with the highest food safety and quality standards Proficient in electrical and mechanical work and troubleshooting Troubleshoot motor controls such as HMIs and PLCs Diagnose automation components such as HMIs, PLCs, I/O, and VFDs Identify communication systems on automation devices Perform basic programming of PLCs Design and implement ideas and innovations to increase equipment efficacy, safety, and reliability Sanitary welding is a plus but not required Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required Technical or vocational degree in related fields preferred Bakery experience strongly preferred 3-5 years of related industrial maintenance experience required Skills:
PLC skills: ability to troubleshoot and diagnose low voltage systems using prints and a meter; connect to PLC via laptop and software; write and read ladder logic for troubleshooting Ability to read and understand machine drawings Proficient in computer applications, spreadsheets, e-mail, SAP, and/or other related systems Proficient in welding, cutting, fabrication, mechanical troubleshooting Basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills required
Benefits:
Compensation: $65,000 to $70,000 (hourly rate: 31.25 - 33.65)
