Job Position: Maintenance Tech
Location: Beaufort, SC 29902
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Shift: Mon - Fri (8:30am to 5:30pm)

Coastal Employment is currently seeking a skilled and reliable
Maintenance Technician
to join a reputable apartment community. This is a great opportunity for candidates with strong hands-on maintenance experience who take pride in keeping residential communities safe, clean, and well-maintained. Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting Respond promptly to work orders and resident service requests Troubleshoot and repair issues related to appliances, fixtures, and property systems Conduct preventative maintenance on building equipment and systems Assist with unit turns and make-readies (including patching, painting, installing fixtures) Ensure grounds and common areas are clean, safe, and properly maintained Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used Collaborate with property management and vendors as needed Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in apartment, facilities, or property maintenance Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry Must have own basic hand tools and a valid driver's license Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions Excellent problem-solving and communication skills EPA or HVAC certification is a plus (not required)
