Business Development Manager
for our
Data Center Sector - East Coast
to ensure customers receive the power, heating, and cooling they need.
Key Responsibilities
Business development and lead generation within the
Data Center sector Cold calling, account management, presentation development, and closing deals Tracking all sales contacts, meetings, opportunities, proposals, and orders Selling equipment rental and services to
Data Center customers Developing and executing an annual territory sales plan Collaborating with operations and logistics teams for project execution Understanding power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors Required Skills and Experience
7-10 years of direct
B2B sales experience Advanced knowledge of the
targeted territory Advanced knowledge of the
Data Center industry Proficiency with a
CRM
(e.g., Salesforce) Experience partnering with
Ops, Fleet, and Logistics teams Bachelors degree
or relevant experience
Must-Haves
Full sales cycle experience Previous experience as a B2B Sales Professional Knowledge of construction and data center builds Outstanding communication and presentation skills Extensive experience developing new accounts, solution sales in a structured corporate setting Nice-To-Haves
