Salary range for this position is expected to be between $156,600 and $174,000, depending on experience. This comes alongside a comprehensive benefits package, including a bonus and 401(k) plan.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Lead and manage the engineering functions to ensure accountability and alignment with station needs and regulatory standards.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Oversee the engineering responsibilities, ensuring they meet station requirements and comply with regulatory demands.
Manage and develop the engineering team focused on achieving high-quality outcomes that align with site and corporate goals.
Provide technical leadership and accountability for both short-term and long-term engineering programs that affect site operations.
Contribute to business planning, budgeting, and performance reviews for the assigned staff.
Act as a senior resource on NGG-wide programs, driving standardized and improved engineering systems and processes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a Professional Engineer License.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a commercial or military nuclear power setting or equivalent utility experience.
Proven track record of technical leadership, including roles such as Duty Team Lead or Inspection Lead.
A strong team player committed to achieving positive results.
A positive leadership assessment record.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Engineering Registration.
An advanced technical degree or an MBA.
