RESPONSIBILITIES
Could you outline the day-to-day functions and major project types this role will support?
Design and develop civil engineering projects, including roadway and utility improvements. Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies. Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and staff. Utilize Civil 3D for design and drafting tasks. Perform stormwater management technical writing, reporting, and calculations
Will they be client-facing or focused on internal design/production?
If they have the personality and desire, we will begin training them for this
REQUIREMENTS
Years of experience required/preferred?
2+ required, 4+ preferred both in civil/site projects
Required software proficiency (e.g., Civil 3D, Carlson, MicroStation)?
Civil 3D, Office products
Licensure or certification requirements (e.g., P.E., LSIT)?
E.I.T. Preferred, but not required
Educational background preferences?
No preference
PROJECT FOCUS
Will this role support specific sectors (e.g., single-family, senior living, roadway, utility, or drainage)? - Our current bread and butter is Master Planning, Commercial, Industrial, Retail, Multi-family, Drainage Infrastructure and Roadway infrastructure (for Private clients, we avoid Public works typically) Any standout projects or client types the new hire should be familiar with?
Not specifically, but if they want to see what we do on a grand scale -> Rivulon in Gilbert and Cavasson in Scottsdale
