Qualifications:
Prefer minimum of high school diploma or equivalent. Trustworthy (works with food stock and district-owned equipment). Dependable. Ability to work well with others. Physical health as required to perform job functions. Ability to work with minimal supervision. A demonstrated aptitude / competence to complete assigned responsibilities. Other, as immediate supervisor deems appropriate and necessary.
Job Functions:
Implement all required regulatory agency guidelines. Supervise kitchen employees. Ensure the quality and quantity of meals are served. Perform daily record keeping, prepayments and all computer functions accurately. Compile orders, complete inventory, production records, accountability, and other reports. Demonstrate the ability to communicate positively with students, co-workers, school staff and parents. Have the ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds. Perform additional tasked as assigned by Director of Food Service.
Physical Requirements/ Environmental Conditions:
Requires prolonged standing and walking. Requires physical exertion to manually move, life, carry, and/or push heavy objects weighting in excess of thirty (30) pounds. Requires bending, twisting, and turning, as well as repetitive motion.
