Join Our Team at de Lazy Lizard: Bartender Position
We're looking for dynamic bartenders to join our team at de Lazy Lizard for the exciting 2025 season. Whether you're an experienced bartender or looking to start your bartending career, we want to see if you're a good fit for our fun, fast-paced beach bar environment.
What We're Looking For:
Experience is preferred but not required: Whether you've worked behind the bar before or are new to bartending, we're willing to train the right candidate. Personality is key: Bartenders at De Lazy Lizard need to be upbeat, approachable, kind, and energetic. You should be able to create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for guests. Customer service focus: You'll need to be attentive and friendly, ensuring that every guest feels valued while keeping the energy high. Building relationships with guests is crucial to keeping them coming back and keeping them engaged. Engagement is everything: You should be able to sell yourself and keep guests entertained to encourage them to stay longer and keep spending money. Consistency and quality: Bartenders are expected to follow posted recipes and measured pours to ensure drinks are consistent every time. Regardless of which bartender serves a drink, it should look and taste the same to maintain the De Lazy Lizard experience. Knowledge of cocktails: While we offer a rum-based cocktail menu suited to the beach atmosphere, familiarity with different drinks and recipes will set you up for success. Team player: We work together to ensure the bar runs smoothly, especially during high-demand times. A positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. Cleanliness and professionalism: We maintain high standards of cleanliness and professionalism. Bartenders are expected to keep their stations tidy and be mindful of the bar's atmosphere. Our 3 Requirements:

Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time Able to lift 25+ pounds Ability to engage with guests and create a fun, lively atmosphere Must have a good personality that is welcoming and approachable Capable of upselling and creating an experience that keeps guests coming back What You Can Expect:
