Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers - Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences - Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately - Maintain a clean and organized bar area - Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption - Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations - Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction - Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for catering events
Qualifications: - Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred - Knowledge of cash handling procedures and basic math skills - Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus - Understanding of food safety regulations and ability to handle food safely - Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with diverse customers - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team - Knowledge of retail math for handling transactions accurately - Hospitality mindset with a friendly and welcoming attitude
