Atlas International Logistics GA is seeking a Warehouse Packer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the following core responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities:
1. Order Picking: - Accurately read pick tickets or utilize handheld scanners to locate items. - Retrieve products from shelves, bins, or racks in accordance with order specifications. - Verify the correct item number, quantity, and quality prior to packing.
2. Packing Orders: - Carefully package items using appropriate materials (bubble wrap, boxes, etc.) to prevent damage. - Label packages accurately for shipping (barcodes, destination information). - Ensure that all necessary documentation (packing slip, invoice) is included.
3. Quality Control: - Inspect items for any signs of damage, defects, or discrepancies. - Report any issues to supervisors or inventory control personnel.
4. Inventory Support: - Assist with cycle counts and stock checks as required. - Restock picking areas with inventory as directed.
5. Shipping Preparation: - Seal boxes and stage them for pickup. - Scan packages into the system for tracking purposes. - Coordinate with the shipping team or couriers for outgoing deliveries.
6. General Warehouse Duties: - Maintain a clean and organized work environment. - Adhere to safety guidelines and promptly report any potential hazards. - Utilize basic warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, carts, etc.) safely and responsibly.
