Project Manager- Certification for Propoulsion team

2 Open Positions Job Description: Support executing airplane certification activities for Boeing 777X program for propulsion team.

Knowledge on Aerospace Environmental Testing such as thermal testing, vibration test and others per RTCA DO-160/MIL-STD-810

Experience working 14 CFR Part 25 and EASA CS-25 aspects

General ability to lead a team to conduct a test, compilation of test sequence, monitor progress of the test and test parameters, and record test activities while being able to accommodate / troubleshoot / maintain any unforeseen events that occur during the test.

Participate in test readiness reviews, safety reviews and data/control systems checkout to minimize risk

Experience with regulatory agencies' procedures and process

Knowledge of integration, verification and certification processes

Knowledge of Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) and Airworthiness Directives (ADs)

Experience working cross functionally

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong problem-solving skills

Support development assurance requirements validation and verification activities along with critical system safety assessments.

Work with suppliers to integrate product on to the airplane

Coordinate internally to meet system and airplane requirements across multiple functions

Assist in developing design solutions to support product improvements

You will support the authoring of certification documents such as equipment qualification test, and certification test plans/reports/summaries, system safety assessments, and system description documentation

Manages and prioritizes multiple tasks in support of certification schedules

Communicates project status, risks, issues, and opportunities to program leadership This position is expected to be 100% onsite Note: Work location is Boeing Everett WA

Job Description: Develops overall project plan consistent with project objectives as defined by the project owner and key stakeholders in accordance with accepted project management standards in the aerospace industry Develops and executes project and process plans and sets project targets Ensures that all project control systems within the scope of the project are in place and integrates project data for decision makers Prepare, identify and present outcomes, assessments, corrective action, initiatives and lessons learned Certifications and experience in tools like

PMP, JIRA, MPP are desired Creating, managing and status reporting a Microsoft project schedule(Using MPP) and providing status. 3+ years of experience in a Project Management position. Leads cross-functional projects in support of the entire lifecycle of the airplane in support of the Engineering Team Works to improve project management processes and business systems that support project decision makers Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives Ensures that all project control systems within the scope of the project are in place and integrates project data for decision makers. Prepare, identify and present outcomes, assessments, corrective action initiatives and lessons learned. Build project in Jira and work with IPT and Functional managers across and burn down the work towards various milestones to TIA phases Pull System Requirement Plans and Status each week to present to leadership This position is based at customer location in Everett, WA.
