Hiring Class A and Class B Drivers in Harrisburg, PA
Job Description
We are seeking dependable local CDL A Truck Drivers to deliver various products such as meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Our drivers build strong relationships with customers through their positive and friendly attitude while meeting their needs and expectations.
Responsibilities
Conduct daily pre and post-trip inspections of equipment.
Keep track of hours of service using mobile ELD.
Unload customer products using a pump jack and hand truck.
Utilize Point of Delivery system to scan customer products during delivery.
Reconcile product shortages or damages on customer invoices and POD system.
Manage invoices, manifests, pick-up slips, and COD payments from customers.
Successfully pass driving and knowledge proficiency tests.
Essential Skills

High level of professionalism and strong work ethic.
Ability to adjust to sudden changes in customer demands or operations.
Strong customer service skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Valid CDL Class A or B.
Comfort with backing and operating heavy machinery.
Recent driving school graduates welcome.

Work Environment
Work involves moving in various environments, including tight spaces, and operating a Class A 53 Foot Refrigerated truck with a lift gate. Drivers will move more freight than Class B drivers using an EPJ and Dolly. Physical tasks include standing, bending, squatting, and lifting equipment up to 100 pounds. The environment may include varying temperatures, outdoor elements, noisy conditions, and hazardous situations.

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
