As an

Associate Product Manager

for our Moen brand, you will coordinate new product development activities, ensuring projects move successfully through the stage-gate process. You will serve as the product expert for your assigned projects, working closely with marketing communications, engineering, supply chain, and other internal partners to deliver high-quality products to market.

This role is ideal for someone with a background in marketing or engineering, some market-based experience, and an interest in product development within consumer, durable goods, tools, manufacturing, or plumbing.

Position location:

This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield, IL. Effective mid-2025, Fortune Brands will transition to a new world-class campus in Deerfield, bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices, brands, and functions. The campus will offer vibrant workspaces for collaboration, along with amenities for dining, onsite daycare, fitness and recreation.

What you will be doing

Coordinate and manage defined product line projects through the stage-gate process, ensuring alignment with timelines, deliverables, and quality standards.

Serve as the product expert for assigned projects, providing guidance and information to internal stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing communications, engineering, supply chain, sourcing, and sales, to ensure smooth project execution.

Work with marketing teams to support go-to-market activities, product launches, and collateral development.

Assist in conducting market research with internal and external stakeholders to inform product features, design, and functionality.

Maintain and update project documentation, timelines, and status reports.

Support the development of training materials for internal teams and customers.

Ensure product information is accurate and up-to-date across pricing documents, spec sheets, websites, and e-commerce platforms.

Qualifications: Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business, or a related field and 2+ years of experience in product development, marketing, or engineering;

OR

in lieu of a degree, 4+ years of relevant experience.

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Ability to travel approximately 15%.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in B2C or B2B environments.

Experience in building products or related consumer/trade goods industries.

Additional Information

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $70,000 USD - $110,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
