Participate in our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). 401(k) plan with company matching. Orientation & Training: Orientation lasts for two weeks at our training facilities either in Des Moines, Iowa, or Columbia, South Carolina. Afterward, you will complete five weeks of over-the-road (OTR) training with a certified Driver Trainer (only four weeks if you have an Automatic Transmission restriction on your Class A CDL). We strive to pair you with a trainer who lives within 150 miles of your home to maximize your weekend time with loved ones. Your initial 7 days (Monday-Sunday) will consist of a combination of classroom education and hands-on load securement training. The following 5 days (Monday-Friday) will focus on familiarizing yourself with our equipment to build your confidence before going OTR with a trainer. As an apprentice driver, you'll earn $650 weekly during both orientation and your OTR training! Requirements: Valid Class A CDL. No recent DOT-reportable accidents or DUIs.
