Your Mission in Action
The Senior Graphic Designer plays a key role in shaping and maintaining the visual identity of the organization across all platforms. Working closely with the Creative Brand Manager, this role is responsible for conceptualizing and executing compelling design solutions that support brand consistency, donor engagement, program awareness and mission-driven campaigns.
Responsibilities
Lead the visual execution of multi-channel design projects from concept to delivery across branding, digital, social, print, presentations and experiential
Collaborate with copywriters, strategists, project managers and account teams to build client-ready campaigns and collateral
Manage multiple program brands and projects simultaneously, while maintaining creative integrity and attention to detail
Present work internally and to programs, confidently articulating design decisions and concepts
Provide creative direction and mentorship to junior designers, interns or freelancers
Uphold and evolve brand guidelines across various client identities, ensuring visual consistency
Maintain awareness of current design trends, competitor work and industry tools to inform and inspire new ideas
Contribute to new business pitches with mockups, branding and presentation design support
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Five (5) years of professional design experience, including three (3) years in a creative or advertising agency
A robust portfolio showcasing a mix of branding, campaign work, digital experiences and print across various industries
Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Figma and Canva
Deep understanding of typography, layout, color and visual hierarchy
Experience designing for paid and organic social, email marketing, landing pages, decks and event materials
Ability to interpret creative briefs, apply strategic thinking and iterate based on feedback
Strong time management, organizational and client-facing communication skills
Comfortable working under tight deadlines with evolving priorities
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications or related field
Motion graphics and video editing skills (After Effects, Premiere Pro)
Experience working on cross-functional teams, including strategists, media planners and UX/UI designers
Knowledge of print production processes and vendor management
Familiarity with project management platforms (Asana, Trello, Monday.com)
Travel
This position may be required to travel up to 10%
