WHO YOU ARE: You are motivated to deliver outstanding customer service in a manufacturing environment. Previous experience in customer service, particularly in the industrial, glass, aluminum, or building materials sectors, is a plus. Exceptional communication (both verbal and written), interpersonal, conflict resolution, and time management skills are essential. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Receiving and processing telephone and fax requests for price quotes, order modifications, adjustments, and cancellations directly from customers. Answering customer inquiries regarding technical aspects of products and services. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers while striving to provide the best possible service. Performing data entry efficiently to ensure timely processing of customer requests. Assisting with various duties and providing backup support to team members as directed by management. Handling or escalating product or service complaints to the appropriate department for further investigation. Assisting in reviewing and validating entered orders to ensure accuracy before final confirmation. SKILLS YOU BRING:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required. 2-5 years of experience in customer service. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite. Customer service experience in the glass, construction, or manufacturing industries is preferred but not required. Strong listening skills and attention to detail are crucial for effective data collection. Ability to perform calculations involving discounts, fractions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, and apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
