Senior Project Manager Overview (Willing to Relocate)-
Lead complex trenchless rehab programs end-to-end—CIPP, manhole rehabilitation, and pipe bursting—for municipal water/wastewater clients. Own schedule, budget, safety, and client success. 10+ years experience required plus PM software proficiency and understanding of estimating software such as Bid2Win/HeavyBid.
Location : Atlanta, GA
Travel : ~10% to project sites
Employment : Full-time, exempt
Compensation : $125,000-150,000 Base Salary plus Bonus & Perks
What you’ll do Own the project lifecycle: precon → planning → execution → closeout for trenchless (CIPP lining, sectional repairs, manhole rehab, pipe bursting) on collection systems.
Build baseline schedules and cost-loaded forecasts; manage critical path, look-ahead plans, manpower/equipment loading, and subcontractors.
Drive financial performance: budgets, pay apps, change orders, earned value, cost-to-complete, and margin protection.
Lead client communications (municipalities, utilities, engineers): progress meetings, RFIs/submittals, CO negotiation, claims avoidance.
Champion field excellence: daily production tracking, QA/QC (air/pressure tests, post-CCTV/PACP, resin logs), and punch-list closeout.
Enforce safety & compliance: site-specific plans, confined space, bypass pumping, traffic control, NASSCO/OSHA adherence.
Coordinate bypass, CCTV, SSES, and restoration; ensure permit, environmental, and utility coordination.
Mentor APMs/Supers; foster a high-performing culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with estimating on means & methods, vendor quotes, and handoff; support pursuit strategy and bid reviews.
What you’ll bring 10+ years managing trenchless rehabilitation projects (CIPP, manhole rehab, pipe bursting) in water/wastewater collection systems.
Strong command of project management software (e.g., MS Project/Primavera, Procore or similar) and solid Bid2Win (BC Bid2Win/Build2Win) or HCSS HeavyBid experience on the estimating side.
Working knowledge of NASSCO PACP/MACP, bypass pumping, traffic control, and confined space best practices.
Proven success with public works/municipal clients and alternative delivery (CMAR/Design-Build) a plus.
Excellent written/verbal communication; adept with RFIs, submittals, and CO negotiations.
Valid driver’s license; ability to visit active jobsites. OSHA-30, Confined Space, Trench Safety preferred. PMP and NASSCO certifications a plus.
Success looks like Projects delivered on time/within budget, TRIR = 0, >95% punch-list cleared at substantial completion, DSO
