Job Overview
As the Technical Assistance Specialist, you will:
Monitor and evaluate providers, projects, program or service delivery Develop and present Medicaid eligibility training sessions for county staff, state agencies and other stakeholders Respond to Medicaid eligibility technical assistance inquiries from county agencies and stakeholders Develop processes and procedures for County Department of Job and Family Services eligibility determinations Identify opportunities for trainings on Medicaid policy changes and Ohio Benefits system enhancements Develop desk aids, developmental materials and guides on Medicaid eligibility policy and systems procedures Represent bureau at conferences, meetings, and training presentations
Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, social or behavioral science, health or statistics; additional 24 months experience specific to subject area of which 12 months experience in use of spreadsheet and database software.
Or 24 months experience as Medicaid Health Systems Analyst, (65291). Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above may be substituted for the experience required.
