Per Diem, Flexible Scheduling, Monday - Friday SUMMARY: As a CT Imaging Specialist, your compassionate care for patients, specialized technical expertise, and commitment to excellence play a vital role in enhancing the quality of imaging services and supporting the department's overall success. RESPONSIBILITIES: Patient Care:
Perform radiography of patients including CT scans and interventional CT-guided procedures; provide on-call coverage for the CT section of Radiology; follow up on patient care needs. Documentation:
Ensure accurate documentation of exams and procedures; maintain thorough records in patient charts. Daily Maintenance:
Assist in supervising the CT team on a daily basis; clean and prepare rooms while ensuring they are adequately stocked. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Two-year college degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field. NYS license in Radiologic Technology or a NYS permit with an obligation to obtain licensure within six months of employment. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R) within six months of employment. NYS Injection Certification required within six months of employment (effective 7/16/2018). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist is preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and proficiency in various software applications is preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills are highly valued. EDUCATION: LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: R - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) RT(R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist - New York State Education Department (NYSED) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position requires medium work, exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; frequent walking, standing, or squatting is required. For disease-specific care programs, refer to the program-specific requirements for additional specifications related to experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements. Any physical requirements reported by a prospective employee and/or the employee's physician or delegate will be considered for accommodations. PAY RANGE: $32.00 - $44.00 CITY: Rochester POSTAL CODE: 14621 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full-time applicant. It may be modified in the future and is eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
