to join their team.

Title:

S

enior Industrial Designer

Location: Greensboro, NC. ONSITE.

Duration: 12 months with the possibility of extension/conversion

Pay Ranage: $50-54/hr

: Open-source 3D creation suite

Used for

: Modeling, sculpting, animation, rendering, compositing, video editing, and even game creation.

Type

: High-end surface modeling, especially Class-A surfacing for automotive and product design.

Responsibilities

Propose and develop design solutions with clear product message and distinct brand identity that meets the project prerequisites.

Explore ideas for product message and create 2D and 3D concepts, e.g., sketches, drawings, and visual artifacts, using the given inputs.

As part of a multidisciplinary product design team create concepts and develop projects from idea through to production.

Interior and exterior design.

Supporting junior team members and peers

Role model of lifelong learning, sharing knowledge and developing others as a trainer and/or coach

May be digging deeper in own discipline, but is building broader T shaped profile

Developing influence and working confidently within the wider Volvo Group network

Clear articulation of how he/she is creating value within their part for the TD/BA.

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant experience

Experience with 2D and 3D sketching tools like Blender, Alias, and Keyshot
