The Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for maintaining common areas, meeting spaces, restaurants, bar, sauna, fitness center, pool area, and hotel guestroom preventative maintenance. Additionally, the technician assists with the repairs and maintenance of hotel equipment, including mechanical and electrical equipment such as pumps and motors. Responsibilities: • Perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms and public areas, keeping detailed records. • Address maintenance requests from guests promptly and with excellent service. • Troubleshoot and repair building systems, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general carpentry. • Assist with pool, sauna, and fitness center maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. • Ensure the safety and cleanliness of public spaces through daily inspections. Qualifications: • Availability for on-call hours, including weekends. • Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs. Compensation: $16 - $18 hourly
