Job Title: Quality Technician
Job Description
As a Quality Assurance Operator, you will be tasked with inspecting and documenting incoming goods, current production, and outgoing goods. Your role will involve communicating with interested parties, troubleshooting machinery, implementing corrective actions to resolve quality issues, and ensuring all proper forms are filled out correctly.
Responsibilities
Inspect and document incoming, current, and outgoing goods.
Communicate with relevant parties regarding quality issues.
Troubleshoot machinery and implement corrective actions.
Ensure all proper forms are filled out accurately.
Test operation of machines/products periodically.
Check output to identify machine-related mistakes or flaws.
Investigate and resolve non-conforming incidents.
Audit inventory locations.
Keep records of approved and defective units or final products.
Maintain activity logs and ensure general operators complete their forms.
Assist with ISO 9001 compliance.
Calibrate measurement tools.
Collect and ship samples to customers.
Essential Skills
Quality assurance and control
Inspection techniques
Use of calipers and micrometer
Mechanical aptitude
Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards
Effective communication skills
Understanding of machinery and measurement tools
Basic computer proficiency
Attention to detail
Ability to read blueprints
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with non-conforming product investigation
Ability to audit inventory locations
Capability to maintain activity logs
Experience in collecting and shipping customer samples
