Job Summary:
A leading FAANG company is looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to drive strategic operational and technical initiatives through data intelligence, reporting, and actionable insights. This role is critical in building scalable BI infrastructure, enabling data-driven decision-making, and influencing high-impact business strategies for client's replenishment programs. The BIE will partner across Category, Technology, and Operations teams to design and implement analytics solutions that shape how clinet executes its SnS business worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Work within large-scale, complex BI environments to architect end-to-end solutions, including data pipeline development, ETL processing, dataset harvesting, and custom logic application. Build reporting, dashboards, and visualization tools in Quicksight or Tableau to support business reviews, deep dives, and strategic planning. Improve auditing tools to detect data gaps and enhance system capabilities for scalability. Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver insights-oriented solutions. Challenge existing workflows with data-backed recommendations for cost-neutral or improved scalability. Collaborate with SnS and CADE teams to create an intelligence roadmap for automation and business productivity. Maintain a knowledge repository for SnS data intelligence. Analyze customer engagement within client's broader value chain to develop actionable business insights.
Must-Have Skills:
4–6 years of strong working knowledge of SQL, Python, Tableau (or Quicksight) Experience working with large-scale, complex datasets Proficiency in AWS services, including Redshift, Glue, and related analytics tools
Industry Experience:
Prior Amazon employee or Redshift experience is highly desirable.
