The Benefits Specialist II assists the Benefits Team in the day-to-day administration of the Company's various employee benefits programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Answers general inquiries and provides a high level of customer service to employees regarding benefits and LOA procedures, policies, eligibility rules and regulations
Assists with complex benefit functions tied to the Form 1095C and the benefit eligibility process
Keeps abreast of the Company's benefits, including policies, eligibility rules, and general regulations
Assists with the administration of all health and welfare benefit programs, Leave of Absence administration, and other various benefit programs
Proactively identifies and implements workable solutions to issues
Performs other duties as assigned/necessary
Minimum Requirements:
College degree or equivalent experience in related departments
At least four (4) years of benefits administration experience preferred
Proven knowledge of HRIS systems, preferably ADP
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, required
Working knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to Human Resources/Benefits
Ability to keep sensitive employee information confidential
Ability to work as an effective team member, including establishing and maintaining positive, professional business relationships with other departments and branch offices
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task and work independently within a fast-paced environment
Possess a high level of initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision
Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
ADP Enterprise experience a plus
Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills
Computer proficiency required
Wage/Salary Information:
$55,000 - $70,000, with a $5,000 annual bonus potential
