Burns & McDonnell . Description The Project Manager oversees daily operations from pre-construction through project completion and warranty periods. Responsibilities include managing safety, quality, schedule, costs, contracts, subcontractors, suppliers, proposals, estimates, documentation, client relations, field staff, and other duties for EPC, Construction Management, Construction, and Program Management projects. The focus is primarily on Mission Critical Data Center projects across various industries. Adhere to safety programs, promote safety & health performance among team members and subcontractors. Oversee daily construction activities and multiple projects simultaneously. Participate in planning, scheduling, estimating, and setting project objectives. Develop and maintain client relationships, handle proposals and project-related communications. Conduct risk reviews, negotiate contracts, and manage change orders. Implement project execution plans, including safety, quality, staffing, and procurement. Develop staffing plans, train teams, and coordinate activities across disciplines. Manage permits, site layout, mobilization, and demobilization. Oversee bid processes, RFPs, and scope of work development. Review and communicate project reports, budgets, cash flow, and status updates. Collaborate with engineering teams on deliverables. Manage contract administration, including RFIs, submittals, claims, and closeout. Coordinate commissioning, startup, and project documentation. Ensure compliance with insurance, taxes, licensures, and bonding. Perform safety, quality, progress, and financial audits. Manage project costs, schedules, work breakdowns, and field tracking. Oversee materials management, inventory, and logistics. Verify subcontractor compliance with contract documents and safety standards. Handle project turnover, warranty, and recordkeeping processes. Engage with governmental and public entities as needed. Review field reports, mentor staff, and provide performance feedback. Manage community relationships and labor agreements. Onboard and manage craft/field supervision, labor classifications, and training. Estimate, forecast, and control labor and equipment costs. Manage earned value, schedule, change management, and cost metrics. Oversee equipment inventory and project site staffing. Perform other duties as assigned and ensure policy compliance. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field + 13 years relevant experience, or applicable experience as a substitute. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project management software preferred. Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience in industries like aviation, commercial, energy, government, manufacturing, oil & gas, etc., is preferred. Basic understanding of GAAP required. Must meet company driving requirements.
