Responsibilities
Virginia Mason Franciscan Health's Center for Cardiovascular Health in Silverdale, Washington, is hiring a per diem Interventional Cardiologist at the state-of-the-art St. Michael Medical Center. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a recognized team known for excellence in patient care and clinical outcomes across the Puget Sound, Kitsap Peninsula, and Olympic Peninsula. The area attracts physicians for its natural beauty and outdoor activities.
The team includes fourteen Cardiologists and thirteen advanced practice practitioners: four interventional cardiologists, a structural cardiologist, electrophysiologists, an advanced cardiac imager specializing in cardiac MRI, and an advanced heart failure cardiologist. Our cardiovascular service line has received multiple awards from the American Heart Association and the American Thoracic Surgeons, including high PCI volumes and leadership in quality and outcomes. The program features a robust structural heart program with TAVR and left atrial appendage occlusion, supported by a team of cardiothoracic surgeons, cardiac anesthesiologists, vascular surgeons, and thoracic surgeons. Our service line extends across an 11-hospital system, including three tertiary centers, and hosts the Virginia Mason Franciscan Cardiovascular Fellowship program.
Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible; American Board of Cardiology
- Ability to obtain a medical professional license in Washington State
- Ability to obtain DEA registration with full prescriptive authority for the practice
- BLS certification required
