What you would be doing:


The Solution Business Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement and supplier management activities specific to solution-based offerings (e.g., integrated systems, services + hardware bundles, or turnkey solutions). This role ensures strategic sourcing, cost optimization, and supplier alignment that supports the business model shift from traditional product sales to value-driven solutions.

Procurement Strategy & Planning

Develop and execute procurement strategies tailored to solution-based business models (e.g., hardware + software + services)

Collaborate with solution architects, business development, and sales teams to define procurement needs early in the solution design process

Supplier & Partner Management

Identify, evaluate, and manage strategic suppliers and partners, including service providers, SaaS vendors, and system integrators

Negotiate contracts, SLAs, and partnership agreements ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance

Cost & Risk Management

Drive total cost of ownership (TCO) optimization while ensuring delivery performance and quality

Mitigate risks in supply chain (e.g., service reliability, cybersecurity, vendor lock-in) particularly for as-a-service or recurring revenue models

Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with engineering, finance, legal, and project management teams to align sourcing plans with solution delivery timelines and compliance requirements

Support bid preparation and proposal pricing for solution tenders or RFPs by providing supplier quotations and sourcing options

Performance Monitoring

Track and evaluate supplier performance using KPIs tied to solution delivery outcomes (e.g., uptime, customer satisfaction)

Continuously improve procurement processes to support scalability and responsiveness of solution delivery

What we require:


Bachelors degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or related field; Masters preferred

10+ years of procurement experience, with at least 2 years in solution business or service procurement

Strong understanding of solution-based offerings (e.g., digital platforms, services, bundled solutions)

Proven negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship skills

Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement tools; experience with service procurement platforms is a plus

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and dynamic environment

Preferred Experience:

Experience in industries such as ICT, energy solutions, industrial automation, or smart infrastructure

Exposure to procurement models for as-a-service or outcome-based business models
