A leading general contractor based in Armonk, NY is seeking a skilled Estimator with 510 years of experience in commercial interiors & healthcare to join their growing preconstruction team.
This firm specialises in interior renovations and delivers projects across the tri-state area for clients in corporate, healthcare, education, and institutional sectors. They have a strong reputation for quality, attention to detail, and long-standing client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed estimates, budgets, and proposals from schematic through to construction documents
- Perform quantity take-offs and pricing using Bluebeam and other relevant software
- Issue RFPs, level subcontractor bids, and maintain trade relationships
- Collaborate closely with project managers and executives on cost strategies and value engineering
- Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, and contribute to project handovers
Requirements:
- 510 years of estimating experience with a commercial GC (interiors experience required)
- Proficient with Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and other estimating tools
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Local to the Westchester/NYC area (office is based in Armonk)
