Overview:

The Human Resources Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role ensures the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives while fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Management: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business strategy. Provide strategic direction and leadership on HR-related issues. Performance Management: Develop and implement performance appraisal systems. Guide managers in setting performance goals and conducting performance reviews. Employee Relations: Manage employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and other issues. Nurture a positive working environment. Recruitment and Staffing: Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, and selection. Ensure the organization attracts, hires, and retains top talent. Develop and manage the talent acquisition strategy. Compliance: Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management. Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions. Compensation and Benefits: Design and implement a comprehensive compensation and benefits plan. Monitor and review compensation and benefits packages to ensure they are competitive. Payroll Management: Oversee payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations. Training and Development: Identify training needs and create or procure professional development programs. Implement training programs to ensure continuous development of employees. HR Metrics and Reporting: Develop and manage HR metrics and reporting systems to inform business decisions. Provide decision support through HR metrics. Leadership: Lead and develop HR team members. Act as a consultant to senior management on HR issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 5+ years of proven working experience as an HR Director or other senior HR role. People-oriented and results-driven. Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics. Knowledge of HR systems and databases. Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills. Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company. In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.

Work Environment

Full-time position, typically Monday through Friday. Office environment with occasional travel as needed.
