Job Description The Assistant Electrical Engineer will assist project teams to create world-class designs for various projects including power, process, healthcare, airports, industrial, and military facilities. The role involves working throughout the design and construction phases, adapting electrical plans based on budget, design factors, or client needs.
Assist in electrical design from conceptual to completion phases.
Modify and review production drawings for diverse projects.
Design electrical components as required by project managers.
Apply knowledge of electrical concepts, practices, codes, and procedures.
Research and compile project data.
Update drawings using CAD software.
Participate in client presentations, shop drawing reviews, and contract administration.
Perform field inspections, measurements, and calculations.
Perform other duties as assigned and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related from an ABET-accredited program; or Engineering Technology with FE exam completion.
Prior internship or consulting experience preferred.
Knowledge of electrical engineering techniques, principles, and procedures.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, and electrical analysis programs.
Attention to detail, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Engineers in Training (EIT) certification preferred.
Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $86,500 - $125,000 annually, plus bonuses. Benefits include insurance, disability, time off, wellness programs, ESOP, and 401(k).
