Position Highlights: This role is based in an Employer-Based Clinic located within St. Agnes Hospital, providing exclusive services to Fond du Lac County employees. Job Responsibilities: Assist with treatments as directed by a provider or registered nurse. Conduct patient interviews, measure vital signs, and accurately record information in patients' charts. Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations. Handle basic clerical tasks including answering phones, maintaining records, scheduling patients, and filing. Manage supply inventory, including ordering and stocking items, while ensuring a clean, organized workspace. Document the provider’s patient encounters, including diagnoses, symptoms, and follow-up instructions. Maintain a vigilant and safe environment at all times. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: High School diploma/GED or 10 years of relevant work experience. Successful completion of an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent education. Experience: No prior experience required. Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, and communication. Ability to lift/carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs as needed. Frequent data entry and use of a computer. Ability to discern body sounds and identify various alarms. Required Certifications: Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA). Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification required.
