Commercial Disputes Midlevel Associate

We are seeking a mid to senior-level associate to join the Commercial Disputes practice in our Seattle office. The ideal candidate will have a strong litigation background with the ability to manage cases independently from start to finish. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent legal writing, analysis, strategic thinking, and advocacy skills. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage complex litigation matters from inception to resolution, including legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs. Develop and implement case strategies collaboratively with team members to achieve favorable outcomes. Conduct depositions, witness interviews, and manage discovery processes. Prepare and argue motions and briefs before courts. Communicate effectively with clients regarding case developments and negotiate settlements when appropriate. Stay updated on legal developments, trends, and best practices in litigation. Participate in trials with trial teams. QUALIFICATIONS Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar and in good standing. 5-7 years of litigation experience, preferably in commercial litigation. Strong litigation skills, including pleadings, discovery, and court representation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple deadlines. Sound judgment and strategic decision-making abilities. Commitment to high-quality legal service and client outcomes. Experience with electronic discovery and litigation support tools is preferred.
