As the\nMRI Technologist you will perform basic and complex MR

imaging\nprocedures

as well as post-processing responsibilities. This will require an\nin-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology,

pathology,\npharmacology

and medical terminology. You will be\nexpected to support all imaging centers staffed by our organization. You\nwill be required to maintain a high degree of accuracy in patient positioning\nand image

acquisition/formation.

You will be expected to support all imaging\ncenters staffed by our organization. You will also need to apply your knowledge\nof magnetic field safety and properly screen all patients and visitors prior to\nadmittance into the MR magnet room. You will:

Ensure accurate processing of\nradiology orders Maintain accurate up-to-date records\nof procedures performed Operate a variety of\npost-processing/3D workstations Perform accurate image archival Prepare and administer

paramagnetic\ncontrast

media Sensitively handle physical and\nemotional needs of the patient

Salary\nRange: $49.73 - $65.56 Hourly Qualifications Please ensure your resume and

A combination of the ARRT and CRT – required.

MR\n certificate required \n

OR you need \n

\n

A combination of the ARRT and ARMRIT (MR) – required \n

\n

\n

BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross –\n required \n

Graduate from a AMA Radiologic Technologist Program –\n required \n

Venipuncture certificate – preferred \n

AA or BS – preferred \n

At least 1 year of MRI experience – preferred \n

Siemens experience – preferred \n

Ability to adapt to advancements and changing technologies \n

Ability to identify contraindications for exams \n

Excellent communication, interpersonal and independent decision-making\n skills \n

Familiarity with clinical billing (IDX codes) \n

Knowledge of human anatomy and pathology \n

Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities \n
