A fast-growing dental lab in Orange County is hiring a
Technical Advisor
to lead case coordination, client support, and team training. This is a hands-on, leadership-focused role ideal for an experienced dental technician with strong communication skills and deep technical knowledge of dental lab workflows.
You will oversee incoming cases, support client communication, assist with custom shades and implant planning, and coach team members to maintain high performance across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Review incoming cases for accuracy and route them to the correct teams. Supervise and support technical representatives across multiple departments. Communicate directly with dentists regarding product options, troubleshooting, and case updates. Assist with custom shade matching and chairside support for local clients. Ensure accurate case documentation in lab management software. Monitor hold reports, rush cases, and quality control deadlines. Collaborate with implant specialists to ensure compatibility, coding, and proper part usage. Train and coach internal staff on lab SOPs, workflows, and client service standards. Perform pre-QC and final quality checks across departments. Support onboarding of new or reactivated accounts.
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of dental lab experience, including case coordination or client-facing work. Strong knowledge of dental and implant terminology and restorative workflows. Previous experience leading or coaching teams preferred. Proficiency in dental lab software and digital documentation. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and respond with urgency. Confident working independently and collaboratively with other departments. Comfortable speaking with dentists and handling real-time problem-solving.
Compensation and Benefits:
